Concert/Heaven’s Music – February 20
What happens when a somewhat silly Guardian Angel, known as GA, tries to help six year old Nio see the beauty in all forms of music? The consequences are fun as the GA introduces Nio to two teenage opera singers who try to out sing each other, a beautiful flutist, a solemn violinist, a pop singer, and a dancer having trouble dancing.
This performance is great for the whole family – kids and parents alike.
Proceeds of this event go to the High Hopes Fund at Joslin Diabetes Clinic to help in the research of diabetes Joslin Diabetes Center has been the global leader in diabetes care, research and education for more than a century. With Joslin’s concentrated focus on a single disease, a synergy develops among researchers, clinicians and educators. The result is a collaboration that fosters cutting-edge scientific discovery, comprehensive clinical care models and pioneering education strategies.
Inadequate insurance reimbursements, government funding setbacks, the high cost of treating patients with diabetes and teaching future caregivers all can be barriers to reaching new heights in progressive care and medical discovery. The High Hopes Fund makes it possible for Joslin to work through these barriers, ensuring the essential parts of their mission remain adequately funded while providing much-needed hope for a world without diabetes and its complications to their patients and families.
