Concert/To Commemorate1988 Earthquake in Armenia – December 7
A special gift from our local performers
We honor the memory of those who perished in the 1988 earthquake. We dedicate this musical program to the strong will of our brothers and sisters in Hayastan as well as Armenians of New England who came together and helped our people endure this natural disaster.
On this 20th anniversary of the earthquake, Amaras is initiating a new project to help the High School in the village of Aregnadem, Armenia, a border village in the Amasia region 11 kilometers from the Turkish border. We will provide the school with books, educational material and art supplies. You are encouraged to make a financial contribution toward this effort.
