Nairyan Vocal Ensemble – April 18 thru May 7

Nairyan Vocal Ensemble will be performing at the First Church in Cambridge, 11 Garden St, Cambridge, MA on Sunday, May 7 at 4pm, co-sponsored by the Armenian Museum of America as part of an 8 cities tour of the United States.

Nairyan Vocal Ensemble was created in 2015 as a program of the Mughdusyan Art Center. The goal was to popularize Armenian composers, spread classic and spiritual music, and to help empower women. Currently the ensemble consists of four young women with professional music training. They sing polyphonic songs, mainly in acapella, and some of the songs are performed with clarinet, tambourine, and other instruments.
